Hidden gem by Thy National Park

I bought this house with the dream of creating a gathering place for our large family. As a city dweller, I especially appreciate the peace and privacy here at the end of the road—right where the gravel road continues along trails into Thy National Park. Nature begins the moment you step out the door.

Our summer house is filled with positive energy. The bright living room sets the stage for cozy moments—playing board games around the dining table, taking a nap on the sofa, or spending warm hours in front of the wood-burning stove when the wind is howling. The light-colored wood walls and cozy decor give the house a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.

One of the things we love most are the three terraces surrounding the house, which let you follow the sun all day long—from morning coffee in the soft mid-morning sun to an evening glass of wine in the sun’s last rays. From here, you can enjoy the view and the scent of the expansive natural grounds.

The area invites both tranquility and adventure—whether you want to relax in the garden, visit the North Sea, surf the waves, or go on long hikes through the rugged and magnificent nature that surrounds you on all sides.

The annex is available if there are more than 5 people. If you’d like to use it anyway, please let me know and I’ll book it for you.

The annex isn’t used during the winter months, as it isn’t heated.

Since I bought the house five years ago, it has undergone a thorough renovation, and there’s still a little work left to do. Right now, the two gables under the roof are next in line, and next year the shower room will be upgraded—so there are always new improvements happening when the house isn’t rented out.
