1865 villa with sauna in the heart of Dalarö

You'll be staying in a beautifully restored villa from 1865 in the heart of historic Dalarö. The house has been featured in Sköna Hem and combines timeless Swedish charm with laid-back coastal interiors. Here, you can enjoy a private sauna, a peaceful garden, and walking distance to the docks, the beach, a bakery, cafés, restaurants, and the harbour.

The house has many shared spaces to enjoy. The Verum Room is bathed in light thanks to the old veranda that was enclosed at the turn of the century. The TV room is decorated with floral wallpaper and Ralph Lauren fabrics. The new room, added in the early 2000s, is nestled in the garden with windows all around and connects to the house’s wraparound veranda.

The bedrooms upstairs each have their own unique character. One room features a cosy alcove, while another has windows overlooking the garden and the village. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a large spa tub and shower, as well as a balcony with French doors.

Dalarö's a vibrant community year-round, with a bakery, an ICA grocery store and restaurants. Just a five-minute drive away is Smådalarö Gård, featuring a restaurant, spa, tennis and paddle tennis. The beach is nearby and perfect for children, and a running trail winds through the forest. Brandbryggan, where Anders Zorn painted his famous pier, is a favourite spot.
