Historic timber house from the 1800s in Nordfjord

This historic log cabin from around 1878 takes you on a journey back in time. Generations have gathered here, and the soul of the old walls creates a unique atmosphere. The combination of authentic charm and modern facilities makes this a perfect base for experiencing Nordfjord.

The house has a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and four bedrooms—one large on the first floor and three on the second floor. The well-equipped kitchen has a small dining area, while the living room invites you to gather around the large long table. Some of the tableware and furniture have been in the house since its inception. Wood-burning stoves in the kitchen and living room create warmth and coziness. The house is not winterized according to today's standards, but with wood in the stove, you get an authentic and cozy experience. The house has been restored with funds from the Cultural Heritage Fund and is SEFRAK-registered.

On the lawn outside, you can relax and enjoy the view of the surroundings. With comfortable outdoor furniture and a homemade charcoal grill, this is the perfect place to create some great memories together. Hiking opportunities start right outside the door.
