Your fully furnished accommodation occupies a private wing of an 18th-century farmhouse located between Albi, Toulouse, and Montauban, and has been carefully restored to blend stone and wood with modern comforts. This spacious 100-square-meter home features a private entrance and terrace, as well as dedicated access to a saltwater pool shared with the owners.
In an idyllic and peaceful setting, surrounded by nature, you can enjoy moments of relaxation far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Light floods the living room through large floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto a sunny southwest-facing terrace. The modern kitchen features an open counter overlooking the dining room. On the ground floor, you’ll find a spacious bedroom and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. Upstairs, accessible via a spiral staircase equipped with a handrail and automatic lighting at night, a second bedroom offers flexible accommodation options in a warm and intimate atmosphere.
Your private L-shaped terrace overlooks part of a one-hectare garden that blends into the rolling fields. Below lies a pond where turtles and frogs have made their home. Hiking trails and bike paths start right from the property and wind through the surrounding countryside. From the pool, a panoramic view stretches across the landscape.
The Gaillac vineyards are nearby, while the medieval bastides—Castelnau-de-Montmiral and Puycelsi—are less than 30 minutes away, and Cordes-sur-Ciel is 45 minutes away. The Sainte-Cécile Cathedral in Albi and the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum are just a 40-minute drive away. Kayak down the Aveyron River, explore the hiking trails, or stroll through the lively local markets in Rabastens, Lisle-sur-Tarn, and Gaillac.

We’re both English, but we’ve been living in France for years. Five years ago, we left Paris in search of peace and quiet, and we fell in love with this 18th-century farmhouse in the Tarn countryside. We’ve lovingly restored it, though not without a few surprises along the way—as is often the case with old stone houses. We’d be delighted to welcome you and help you discover this beautiful, multifaceted region. Our only regret is not having discovered it sooner!
