The spacious cabin is built on one level with large, airy rooms and is decorated in natural colors that reflect the surroundings. Two handmade fireplaces in Oppdal slate adorn both the kitchen and the living room, while the sturdy timber creates an authentic atmosphere.
The sunny natural plot provides the perfect setting for outdoor living. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet while listening to sheep bells in the distance or keeping an eye out for majestic capercaillies roaming the area.
The cabin is a short distance from Senhovd, known as 'Nansen's kingdom', where the famous explorer prepared for his polar expeditions. The area offers a network of hiking trails and ski trails, as well as several ponds where you can fish or take a refreshing dip in the summer.
