We stayed at the house for 5 days.
Our positive experiences:
The house is beautiful, spacious, and has a lovely, sheltered garden.
It was wonderfully peaceful and quiet there.
Communication went very smoothly.
Negative experiences:
We didn’t find the house to be clean. The bed linens were laid out for us, but one sheet had stains.
The kitchen wasn’t clean; in particular, the kitchen cabinets, drawers, and the stove with oven were dirty.
The dining room table was sticky, and even the showerhead was sticky.
So, when it comes to hygiene, there’s definitely room for improvement!
We found the mattresses on the double bed to be very soft. Of course, this is a very personal preference and not meant as a criticism. But it’s information that might be helpful to a future guest.
