Charming old forest cabin an hour from Oslo

Welcome to a sanctuary in the woods just an hour and five minutes from Oslo. This charming cabin, with its old timber part and extension from 1979, is the perfect place for those who want to relax in nature. Here you may be lucky enough to see everything from moose and beaver to hare and roe deer, and when evening comes, the stars light up the sky over the pond below.

The interior of the cabin is cozy and inviting, with low ceilings and a warming fireplace in the living room. At 39 square meters, the cabin includes a bedroom with a 180 cm wide bed, a 150 cm wall-mounted bed and two sofa beds in the living room. The black one is 130 cm wide and 190 cm long and is suitable for two people, while the gray one is 110 cm wide and 190 cm long and is only suitable for one person. All the modern kitchen facilities are in place, including an electric kettle, induction oven, fridge, freezer and more. Plus, there are plenty of board games and toys for the kids. The cabin is equipped with an outhouse. There is no shower in the cabin.

Outside the cabin you'll find a nice view of the pond and a fire pit that's perfect for barbecues. It provides good heat, so you can enjoy the evenings outside even when the temperature drops. Please note that the cabin has summer water from May to October. You must bring your own water from Oct-May.

The area around the cabin is full of opportunities for outdoor activities. The nearest swimming spot is just a nine-minute drive away, and here you can also fish for trout, perch and pike. Or how about a walk in the woods to explore the wildlife and nature even more?
