Welcome to a haven in the forest just an hour and five minutes from Oslo. This charming cabin, with its old timber-framed section and extension from 1979, is the perfect place for those who want to unwind in nature. Here you'll be lucky enough to see everything from moose and beavers to hare and deer, and when evening comes, the stars light up the sky over the pond below.
The interior of the cabin is cozy and inviting, with low ceilings and a warming fireplace in the living room. At 39 square meters, the cabin includes a bedroom with a 180 cm wide bed, a 150 cm wall-mounted bed, and two 90 cm wide beds in the living room. All modern kitchen amenities are in place, including an electric kettle, induction oven, fridge, freezer and more. Plus, there are plenty of board games and toys for the kids. The cabin is equipped with an outhouse. There is no shower in the cabin.
Outside the cabin you'll find a nice view of the pond and a fire pit that's perfect for barbecues. It provides good heat, so you can enjoy the evenings outside even when the temperature drops. Please note that the cabin has summer water from May to October. You must bring your own water from Oct-May.

Hi, it's me, my partner Annia and our 8-year-old son who use the cabin. We wanted to take him out into nature more, since we have chosen to live centrally in the city. We often bring his friends and our own friends to the cabin. Here you can climb trees, find different insects, go fishing, lie in a hammock, have a barbecue etc. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
Please note that there is no shower in the cabin. We use to drive 15 minutes to the swimming pool (Bjørkebadet). There is a hot therapy pool, training pool, cold pool at 16 degrees, steam bath, sauna and jacuzzi.
There is water in the tap from May to October. You must bring your own water from October to May. The landowner has added a toll fee of NOK 70. It is paid on a website called youpark.
If the weather is very icy, slippery and freezing, we may cancel your booking. We promise to let you know in good time! But otherwise the cabin can be used in winter.

It was a lovely cute cabin, situated perfectly so that we had the sun all day. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed to cook the food we wanted and was just the right size for our family of four. Outside there was a nice view of the pond (which we walked to and tried our luck fishing) and outside the cabin we grilled in the fire pit and our daughter played and jumped.
