New Nordic house near Liseleje beach

My name is Jacob, and I’ve owned my summer house for 8 years and enjoy spending time there with my older son, Oliver, and my girlfriend. I’ve traveled extensively in various parts of the world and have lived and worked abroad as a Danish diplomat—including 3 years in Vietnam and 4 years in Mexico—but I grew up here on Liseleje Beach.

I spend a lot of time outdoors myself—hiking, running, biking, swimming, and doing ultra-running in the woods and mountains—but I also enjoy reading and the peace and quiet of the house. If you’re interested in nature or hiking, running, or biking trails, I have great recommendations and some excellent books about the area that I’d be happy to share. I know all the small, unique trails and beautiful spots on the beach, in the fields, and in the woods—from Lynæs, Kikhavn, and Hundested to Liseleje, Tisvildeleje, and Tisvilde Hegn, among others.

I’ve been gradually renovating the vacation home and furnishing it to my taste. It’s bright, modern, and Nordic in style, with large windows and rooms that open completely onto the old vacation home garden, so that the indoors and outdoors blend seamlessly. This applies to the kitchen, living room, and bedroom. The bathroom is new, featuring underfloor heating, a wall-mounted toilet, and handmade wall tiles.

The cottage is well-insulated and stays nice and warm all year round.
