Retro house on Handrup Bakker with sea views

This original vacation home from 1968 has been renovated in its original style—painted from floor to ceiling, with new windows and doors, and updated bathroom and kitchen. Everything is decorated in a retro style using vintage items. You’ll find a creaky wooden house with uneven floors and an atmosphere that’s hard to replicate.

The house features one double bedroom, one room with two bunk beds, and a newly built, insulated annex for two adults. There’s a hot tub and an outdoor shower, and you can build a bonfire in the garden. Two bicycles are available. Note: There is neither a dishwasher nor a washing machine.

The 200 m² southeast-facing terrace overlooks the sea and serves as the focal point for outdoor living. The garden offers space for bonfire evenings, and the shared swimming pier is 400 m away. The road is closed to through traffic, so you’ll be spared traffic noise from Kystvej.

Handrup Bakker is known for its black wooden cottages and paths lined with rosehip bushes. Just 50 steps away lies the sheep pasture—a protected hilltop with live sheep and a view of Ebeltoft Bay. Ebeltoft is 5 km away via a bike path, and bus 123 departs from Handrupgårdvej. Mols Kroen is 3 km away. Mols Laboratorium, Djurs Sommerland, and Ree Park are a short drive away.
