Forest house on the Felsenweg with sauna

Located on Felsenweg in Mitlosheim, this vacation home sits right in the forest—and the hiking trail of the same name literally starts right from the garden. With a pellet stove, its own sauna, and a private garden, it’s a place to unwind and take a deep breath.

On the ground floor, the living, dining, and kitchen areas flow together in a spacious open-concept space, complemented by a sleeper sofa. The walls are adorned with photos and pictures collected or taken during the owners’ own travels—each with its own story. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms with views of the forest.

The private garden features a patio, a barbecue area, and a hammock. The private sauna is the perfect way to unwind after a long day of hiking. Pets are welcome.

The Felsenweg trail winds through the woods for about 13 km, passing rock formations along the way. At the Losheim Reservoir, you can swim and go stand-up paddleboarding, and the circular hiking trail (16 km) offers views of the lake. Families can explore the Saar Loop near Mettlach via the treetop trail, which reaches heights of up to 23 m. The F'LAUERS Bistro in Losheim—an insider’s tip located in an old nursery—serves regional dishes.
