You wake up and see the lake shimmering through the windows. A private forest path leads you two kilometres along the shore. Here, in the large country house on Schwalbensee, you're surrounded by 20 hectares of nature—with a boat dock, canoe, and raft right outside the door.
The farmhouse offers six bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a spacious living and kitchen area with a fireplace. The kitchen's a dream for anyone who loves to cook: a large gas stove, a side-by-side refrigerator, and shelves full of spices and teas. A library, a game cabinet, and two cosy TV nooks invite you to relax. Plenty of space for young and old: You share the spacious garden with guests from the other holiday let when the property's fully booked. You'll find old fruit trees, berry bushes, lawns, as well as a trampoline, swings, and a wooden boat-shaped sandpit. There are also fire pits, table tennis, bicycles, canoeing equipment, and—in the summer—the lively activity of up to 50 families of swallows in the barn.
The Müritz National Park is 15 kilometres away, featuring clear lakes and hiking trails. Waren (10 km) offers boat trips and swimming spots on Germany’s largest inland lake. Visit the Serrahn Forest Adventure Trail, the national park village of Kratzeburg, or the historic royal seat of Neustrelitz with its palace gardens.
Upon request, we’ll be happy to provide fresh bed linens for €15 per person.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.

We're Anna and Henrik. We live in Berlin with our four sons, but the farm's our second home. Since 2017, we've lovingly renovated the house and furnished it for everything we enjoy: cooking, playing, reading, and drawing.
