You'll find yourselves surrounded by forests and meadows, where birdsong replaces the noise of traffic. The former forester's lodge in the quiet hamlet of Emmerichsthal offers you the perfect retreat to take a deep breath and slow down, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The holiday home combines cosiness with a close-to-nature lifestyle and it's an ideal starting point for families, hiking enthusiasts and cyclists who want to explore the Spessart.
In the spacious garden, old fruit trees provide shade, while roses and perennials display their splendour. Snack on the currants, enhance your dishes with fresh herbs, or take home apples, pears, and quinces. Comfortable garden and lounge furniture invites you to relax. Even on cooler days, you can enjoy the crisp winter air and wind down the evening by the outdoor pellet stove in a cosy atmosphere. We're charging a small additional fee to cover the cost of the pellets.
There's a second holiday let on the property. When it's occupied, guests share parts of the garden. However, thanks to the spacious layout, you'll always find plenty of privacy and your very own favourite spot surrounded by greenery.
The Schwarzenfels Castle Ruins, the Steinau Adventure Park and the Devil’s Cave are all nearby. Winter sports enthusiasts can reach the Oberndorf ski lift in Jossgrund, 15 kilometres away, or various ski lifts in the Rhön, 25 kilometres away. Natural swimming areas offer a refreshing change of pace.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.
