High ceilings and lake views over the inlet

Windows over 4.5 meters tall and a 180-degree view across the lake make the living room the natural focal point of this cabin. High ceilings and large glass surfaces give the room an airy feel that sets it apart from most cabins in the area.

The living room and terrace are closely integrated as living spaces. In the winter, you can sit inside by the fireplace and watch the snow settle over the water. In the summer, the balcony and swimming in the lake take center stage.

The cabin is located on a large lake that is home to the Nordic region’s largest inland delta, and the entire area is a nature and bird sanctuary. Østmarka begins right across the road, with hiking trails in the summer and ski trails in the winter.

The area is rural and peaceful. Oslo isn’t far away for those who want to visit the city, but most days it’s the birdlife, the water, and the woods that set the pace.
