Welcome to this charming 70s cottage! Here you will experience a warm atmosphere surrounded by wide and rustic paneling, while enjoying the view of Skogshorn and the mountain ranges through the large windows. The cabin is decorated with care for every detail, combining old cabin style with a modern twist.
Inside the cabin, you'll find a cozy living room with a large fireplace and comfortable lounge. The dining area is furnished with an old bench, good leather dining chairs and an old dining table from the 1800s. The interior details include both Danish and Norwegian design, with everything from Kay Bojesen to handmade Norwegian ceramics.
The outdoor area is large and enclosed, with almost 3 acres of land. Here you can enjoy nature up close, light a fire in the fire pit in the evenings or lie in the hammocks and enjoy the silence and views.
The area around the cabin offers many experiences. Follow the cross-country ski trails up to Ålfjell for miles of trails, or take short day trips to the various mountain peaks in the area. Down at Vaset you'll also find a nice playground for children, fishing and boating opportunities at Vasetvannet.
An outdoor storage room is included with the cabin, where guests have access to 2 sledges, a pram with rain cover and 2 baby carriers.
Ski in / ski out: Cross-country ski trails right outside the cabin.
Ski resorts nearby: approx. 10 min to Vaset ski center, approx. 45 min to Valdres Alpinsenter and approx. 60 min to Hemsedal ski center.

Hi! I'm Anne-Ma, and together with Patrick and our two little girls, Tuva and Pernille, we own this wonderful cabin. We bought the cabin in 2022 and have since then spent a lot of time renovating it, while keeping the original 70's charm. Patrick is a plumber and loves being out in nature, while I work as a photographer and communications manager. We are very interested in reuse and sustainability, and have therefore filled the cabin with quality furniture and details from flea markets and second-hand shops. We hope you'll enjoy staying here as much as we do!
