Built in 1725, the manor house is nestled amid a picturesque landscape of forests and ponds in Middle Franconia. It is accessible via private forest roads.
The house has two stories. The ground floor features a spacious living room with a cozy fireplace, a dining room that opens directly onto the modern kitchen, a study/reading room, a shower room, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer. The three bedrooms and the second, spacious bathroom with a shower and bathtub are located on the upper floor.
Two terraces lead out to the large, beautiful garden, which features a sauna. The fenced-in garden is ideal for dogs to run around freely.
The ponds adjacent to the house are used for carp farming. Pond farming is deeply rooted in Franconian culture and looks back on a history spanning centuries. Guests are welcome to swim in the ponds. Just don’t be startled if a curious carp happens to swim alongside you.
From the manor house, you can set out on numerous hikes, bike rides, and excursions in the immediate or wider surroundings. Our guests can find tips on sights and other attractions in the guide.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.
