My name is Dorthe and I live in Aarhus.
I have had my beautiful cottage, Casa Mols Cottage, since Dec. 2018, and have put love into renovating and decorating it.
I love being here all year round, as it is a unique location with panoramic views of Aarhus Bay and the Aarhus Skyline. Either in front of the crackling fireplace in the winter or from my beautiful large terrace and garden... - and I would love to share the joy with others.
The beach at Skødshoved Strand is beautiful, just 300 meters down the hill from the cottage. There are many wonderful walks directly from the cottage, with high cliffs and beautiful views of Helgenæs and the Aarhus area.
There is a seasonal restaurant and ice cream parlor as well as a delicious takeaway and cafe 500 m before Skødshoved Beach. There is a beautiful harbor nearby where you can catch fish and crabs or enjoy the beach with good conditions for kite surfing, paddle boarding and kayaking.
Mols Bjerge National Park is a popular hiking area just 20 minutes away by car, and cozy Ebeltoft can be visited after a beautiful 30-minute drive.
Djurs Sommerland, Aarhus Airport, golf courses and wellness are within 30 min. drive. Kalø Castle ruin is beautifully situated in the bay and is well worth a visit.
