Mountain cabin close to ski in/out in Trysil

This spacious vacation home, located among the best Trysil has to offer, provides easy access to everything. Imagine a morning where you watch the sunrise over the mountains through the panoramic windows, put on your cross-country skis, and head out onto the trail that runs right along the property line. When it’s time for downhill skiing, take a short walk of about 400 m to the access slope that leads down to the chairlift or the slope continuing on to the Trysil Gondola. If you have small children with you, we recommend the ski bus, which goes directly to the children’s area and the new Trysil Gondola. It’s possible to ski all the way back to the cabin on the access trails, but if you’ve been to the après-ski area or the children’s slope, it’s safer to take the bus back up the mountain.

The 120 m² cabin has five bedrooms suitable for all age groups. The large living room with an open kitchen is a gathering place where you can enjoy the view in front of the fireplace. For children and teenagers, there’s a smaller living room with a large sofa and video games. With two showers, two toilets, and a sauna, there’s plenty of space.

The cross-country ski trails start right outside the door and lead you up the mountain, where kilometers of beautiful trails await. In the summer, the area transforms into a paradise for mountain biking and hiking. From the cabin, you can easily reach the summit of Trysil on foot, or you can bike around the entire mountain in a couple of hours.

With the new Trysil Gondola, you’re just one lift ride away from Högegga’s black runs on the south side. The area offers both challenging alpine runs and gentle cross-country trails for all skill levels. An added bonus is that you can go skiing on your departure day and come home late if the weather and the fun beckon.
