Welcome to a holiday home where the sea is your closest neighbor and the tranquility is immediate. The house was built in 1929 by painter Martin Kaalund-Jørgensen, and Asger Jorn often visited here. With a private jetty and 180-degree sea views, this is the place for those looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Surrounded by nature and wildlife, you can enjoy all meals overlooking the water from the terrace.
The house has a cozy living room where you can relax with a cup of coffee while looking out over the sea. Two of the three bedrooms have direct water views so you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves. With a newly renovated terrace and a large barbecue, there's plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors.
The garden is filled with rose bushes that bloom in summer and fill the air with their fragrance. Lizards run through the grass and porpoises swim just off the coast. The large terrace is the perfect place to barbecue, relax on a sun lounger or enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine.
The area offers many exciting experiences. Take a walk along the coast of Røsnæs, enjoy a three-course dinner at Restaurant Næs, or visit the nature school at Røsnæs where the children can see animals and you can have lunch at Restaurant Edderfuglen. Visit the local vineyards or enjoy a coffee at Café Costa Kalundborg.
Please note: During the months of October to April, the hosts remove the jetty.

When you step down the stairs to the small, turquoise blue cottage, it's as if you step into another world. There is peace, privacy and you live in the middle of nature. The house was built in 1929 by painter Martin Kaalund-Jørgensen, and in 2020 we became the lucky owners of this beautiful place. We have since renovated the house with respect for its history and created a sanctuary in the middle of Røsnæs' wild nature.
