If you continue a little further along the water, you’ll find the homeowners’ association’s swimming pier, which is open to the public and perfect for a refreshing dip. The fjord is popular among kitesurfers, and with a little luck, you might spot seals. The area offers beautiful hiking trails through the Ice Age landscape of the Ejby River Valley and manor house landscapes. The ferry to Orø is nearby, and both Roskilde and Holbæk can be reached in under 30 minutes.
