The town and harbor of Hundested offer shops, restaurants, crab fishing, and a sand sculpture festival. Lynæs Harbor features surfing, a beach, and restaurants. The area has farm stands like Lerbjerggård with organic vegetables, the Tothaven visitor farm with plenty of animals, and numerous thrift stores and antique shops. Liseleje and Tisvilde are easily accessible by car.
