We are retired, former farmer and teacher respectively, and have - especially when we were still active in the labor market - enjoyed staying in the summer house in Thorupstrand as a haven. Here we appreciate the peace and quiet in the middle of nature, often together with children and grandchildren.
We love nature, which is something special in Hanherred. Magnificent, with vast forest areas and beach with, among other things, Bulbjerg's steep limestone cliffs. It is also exciting to follow the small, still active fishing communities. Thorupstrand, with a landing place where the boats are hauled up, has become very well known via the series 'Gutterne på kutterne' on TV2.
