Together, we can create something greater
Christmas is the season of giving, and everyone—big or small—deserves something to look forward to. Join us for a truly special winter getaway as Danish comedian and TV host Martin Johannes Larsen welcomes us into a Landfolk cottage for an important mission: bringing Christmas cheer to vulnerable families.
Throughout December, Danish comedian and TV host Martin Johannes Larsen has embarked on a heartfelt mission under the banner of Martin’s Christmas Patrol: making Christmas special for vulnerable families by raising as many donations as possible for the Danish Red Cross’ Christmas Aid campaign.
In the week leading up to Christmas Eve, Martin moved into Selma and Andreas’ charming thatched holiday home in North Zealand—a magical spot radiating warmth and cosiness, the perfect setting for true Christmas spirit.
Where the warmth spreads
From the living room, where flames crackle in the fireplace and winter cosiness takes centre stage, Martin teased the final of his four live shows on Instagram. The concept was simple: support the Danish Red Cross’ Christmas Aid for vulnerable families and enter the competition for that week’s grand prize.
For this last show, we at Landfolk proudly sponsored the grand prize: a gift card for a Landfolk stay worth €1,300.

During the final broadcast, Martin was joined by his friend and collaborator, TV host and model Sarah Grünewald. Together, they reflected on the magic of Christmas and the joy of sharing it with loved ones. They quickly agreed it’s not the size of the gifts that matters, but the special atmosphere created when the peace of Christmas settles in, and there’s time to simply be together in tranquil surroundings.
