Holiday homes with Canoes, Kayaks, and Rowboats

We were guests of Einar and Simen last week and really enjoyed our stay. The house is nestled between the forest and the Drammen Fjord. It’s beautifully and lovingly decorated and equipped with everything you need. The view of the fjord is breathtaking. A boat and kayaks are available for use. The entire property is beautiful, and our children were thrilled by the many play options, including soccer goals, a trampoline, and playhouses. Waking up in the morning and being able to step right into the fjord is simply wonderful.

It is a spacious and stylish house, perfect for families with children or groups of friends, set in a beautiful location. The house offers impressive living spaces, and having the café in the manor house nearby is a real advantage. While there are a few small details that could be improved, we really enjoyed our stay.

A perfect, charming place for the soul and a feast for the eyes. If you want to really unwind, it’s simply a wonderful retreat. We loved it. The walk to the cabin from the parking lot is long enough that you should plan carefully what you’ll need. The cabin itself is also very tastefully decorated.

An absolutely stunning, stylish house situated in the most beautiful surroundings, enveloped by the magical Norwegian nature. It is an architectural gem that exudes style and personality. The house is located in a completely secluded setting. It has everything you could possibly need. A lovely spot for a swim is just a 5-minute walk away. We recommend renting a boat to explore the area from the water. It’s much easier to visit the surrounding towns by boat than by car.

The house is truly in a prime location, and the surroundings and the view of the lake are gorgeous. If you’re lucky and the sun sets over the lake under a cloudless sky, it’s simply magical. There’s also a very nice outdoor area with a hammock, a dock, and lots of beautiful plants (the entrance area was especially lovely, with lots of lavender on both sides—we saw such beautiful butterflies and bumblebees there). The house itself was neat and very cozy; it could have been a bit cleaner here and there (the mattress protectors, in particular, were quite worn, and the kitchen drawers were very messy), but otherwise everything was great, and we felt very comfortable. It was a shame that, contrary to our hopes, we couldn’t swim in the lake from the dock… due to the poor water quality, etc. But there’s a great rowboat available, which you can use to go on lovely trips and swim somewhere else. Overall, it was a wonderful time, and we would have loved to stay longer.

Airbnb jackpot! Fantastic view, peace and quiet, comfortable beds. Beautifully renovated. It has everything—from a dishwasher to air conditioning—they’ve thought of everything.
