Our names are Charlotte and Nicholas, and we live together with our little daughter and son. We bought our cottage "Black" in 2015, and we have since carefully renovated it. "Black" is our little cottage by the North Sea, where we love to spend our summer holidays or just enjoy the waves over the weekend. For us, cottage life is about being together, and we have decorated the house accordingly. Without TV and with a long communal table for guests, birthday celebrations and family time.
One of the best things we know is sitting on the long bench on the terrace, drinking morning coffee and greeting neighbours as they walk by. Because in Hvorup Klit we greet each other.
We also love to go to Løkken and buy fish or run down to the beautiful Kettrup Mountains. If we feel like a good lunch, we drive to Lønstrup and enjoy a bite to eat in the old cinema, which gets fresh fish from Lønstrup's small harbour. We can also break all the rules and have an ice cream before lunch instead.

The house is absolutely tastefully decorated and furnished with attention to detail. It is quietly located and hardly visible. It offers enough space to pass the time even in bad weather. The bathroom was quite small. Especially the shower is not for tall people. My husband had to stoop/squat when taking a shower. But nonetheless, that didn't detract from the overall impression. We are thrilled.
