Fragrance of rosehips at the North Sea

Our names are Charlotte and Nicholas, and we live with our young daughter and son. We bought our holiday home "Sort" in 2015, and we have since carefully renovated it with respect for the fact that the house was built in 1947. "Sort" is our little cottage by the North Sea, where we love to spend our summer vacation or just enjoy the sound of the waves over the weekend. For us, cottage life is all about being together, and we have designed the house accordingly. Without a TV and with a long communal table for guests, birthday celebrations and family time.

One of our favorite things is to sit on the long bench on the terrace, drink our morning coffee and greet the neighbors as they pass by. In Hvorup Klit, we greet each other.

We also love to go to Løkken to buy fish or go for a run down to the beautiful Kettrup Mountains. If we feel like a good lunch, we drive to Lønstrup and enjoy a bite to eat in the old cinema, which gets fresh fish from Lønstrup's small harbor. We can also break all the rules and grab an ice cream before lunch instead.
