My name is Grethe and together with my husband we enjoy life in our summer house. Alone or with family and friends. Our holiday home is located in a very beautiful area with high ceilings. It is located in the middle of Thy National Park.
There is a unique tranquillity in Vangså, which we feel immediately when we arrive. It's good for the mind and body.
I love sitting in a comfortable chair in the living room or on the first floor, reading a book or watching the birds and the sea. We also often go for a walk in the area - it takes about 5-10 minutes to get to the sea. Sometimes we walk along the sea on the beach or on a path - to Klitmøller. We rarely meet people - until we get to Cold Hawaii. Here we have a cup of coffee and head back home. After such a trip, it's always nice to come home, light a fire in the fireplace, cook good food and drink a glass of wine. We play and listen to LPs on the gramophone.
There is a golf club about 10 minutes' drive from the house. We like to visit it in the morning.
Another nice morning atmosphere is driving along Kystvejen to Hanstholm. Where animals and birds are active.
Shopping: We buy fish in Vorupør, where there are two good fishmongers at the harbor.
The children love being in the house, where it is so quiet... and cozy, as they say. A visit to the National Park Center in Vorupør stimulates adults and children - and we become more aware of the richness of the area - it's a good introduction to the area.
