My name is Grethe and together with my husband we enjoy life in the summer house. Alone or with family and friends. Our cottage is located in a very beautiful area where the sky is high. It is located in the middle of Thy National Park.
There is a unique tranquillity in Vangså that we feel immediately when we arrive. It's good for the soul and body.
I love to sit in a nice chair in the living room or on the first floor, read a book or watch the birds and the sea. We also often go for a walk in the area - it takes about 5-10 minutes to get down to the sea. Sometimes we walk along the sea on the beach or on a path - to Klitmøller. We rarely meet people - until we get to Cold Hawaii. Here we have a cup of coffee and head back home. After such a trip, it's always nice to come home, light a fire in the fireplace, cook good food and drink a glass of wine. We play and listen to LPs on the gramophone.
There is a golf club about 10 minutes drive from the house. We like to visit it in the morning.
Another great way to spend the morning is to drive along Kystvejen to Hanstholm. Where animals and birds are active.
Shopping: We buy fish in Vorupør, where there are two good fishmongers at the harbor.
The children love being in the house, where it's so quiet... and cozy, as they say. A visit to the National Park Center in Vorupør stimulates adults and children - and we get a better understanding of the richness of the area - it's a good introduction to the area.
