My name is Marianne, and I am a trained architect living in Southern Jutland. The summer house is originally an old chicken house, which we bought in 2018 and have since rebuilt. We have been living in Norway, but fell completely in love with the place, which has also been our home for a while. I have two lovely twin boys, so the house is designed for families with children.
We have a rowboat down by the water, which we often use for fishing and setting nets, and the kids can play for hours by the little stream by the house. The sea gives life and a sense of calm.
I love winter swimming and there is a winter swimming club nearby where you can book an appointment every Sunday. We also often visit the marina and the weekly race.
