If you're keen to try SUP for the first time, head to nearby Førby Lake, and if you're more comfortable on land, there are miles of walks in the hilly landscape of National Park Ty, an impressive relic of the Ice Age.

My name is Rasmus, and I work as a graphic designer. I used to live in Nørrebro in Copenhagen, but I decided to move to Thy after buying the summer house in May 2021. I therefore live in the cottage daily, and I am especially attracted to the unique nature and surfing environment here in Vorupør. I love to travel and experience, and I enjoy welcoming guests to my house when they visit the area.
I think that nature and the sea, sell themselves out here. You can go to the water and surf or just experience the many surfers who dry out in the waves every day. Thy National Park is also something special. Everywhere you go, you're surrounded by the raw, rugged dune landscape, and there's plenty of opportunity to see cranes, krone deer and sea eagles, if you're into wildlife like I am.
