When you step inside, you will quickly notice that the cottage has been created with attention to detail with underfloor heating, large windows and stylish features. The heart of the house is installed with a beautiful carved kitchen where you can be together for cooking, a wood stove, a long table where everyone can gather and a sofa corner that invites you to cozy moments. Here the colours are muted and the beautiful wooden slats in the ceiling create a special calm and atmosphere. Behind the kitchen is the entrance hall, where the cupboards hide a lot of games. At the other end of the house, the bedrooms and bathrooms are grouped together, where you will also find a children's room with lots of good books and toys. It's a quiet place to take a nap and get a good night's sleep. Outside there is also an annex with its own toilet.

We are a family of four; Vibeke and Jonas, and our two lovely girls Edith at six and Hilma at one. As soon as the opportunity presents itself, we rush to our little oasis in beautiful Odsherred.
We bought the plot five years ago, and together with an architect we have created a cottage that embodies our dreams; a living room where we can all gather, many rooms for guests and a wonderful outdoor life. A place we also want to share with you.
The first thing we do when we arrive is open the doors and take in the garden, maybe even reach for a glass of wine on the terrace. Almost every day we take a walk on the beach and dip in the sea. If it's winter, we light up the wood stove, sit on the sofa and look for a deer or two.
When we go shopping, we like to drive to Birkemosegaard or to the fishmonger in Havnebyen. Better vegetables and fish are no longer available locally. We also enjoy driving past the Kiosken on Odden - a small wine and cheese pop-up shop. If we're going on a short trip, we often head to Nykøbing Sjælland with great deli shops, cafes and a pleasant pedestrian street. As a family with children we also enjoy going to Sommerland Sjælland or Odsherred Zoo which has the cutest lemur family.
