The vacation home is very cozy and nicely decorated. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The kids were thrilled when they discovered the toys. The house is in a very quiet location next to a few other vacation homes, but the view of the unobstructed sunset is especially enjoyable from the living/dining room and the garden. The beach is very close and easily accessible via a small path through the Landal resort.

A lovely little gem in a nice, peaceful neighborhood. We spent the morning on the terrace, where we were visited many times by squirrels out and about in the fall and various small birds (we were especially thrilled by the Eurasian treecreeper).

An oasis in the archipelago, lovingly furnished with everything you need to live comfortably. Located right on the water. The surrounding nature is breathtaking, and the few neighbors are very pleasant and quiet. Denny is a great host.

We enjoyed the cosy athmosphere of the Sommerhuset during rainy days, with the woodstove burning, baking pancakes, reading, playing games. On sunny days, the lovely garden with its terraces, patio, barbecue facilities , boule course and so many more was a green paradise. And the location itself, with approx. 1 hr driving / ferry distance to Copenhagen, Roskilde and Holbaek, made an ideal homebase to explore cities and the countryside. Everything we needed was supplied in the island’s supermarket, with a cafe nearby. This holiday was just relaxing, and we spent an unforgettable time on Oro island.

A truly lovely house with an extremely well-designed layout. Plenty of space and nice rooms. Ditte was there for us the few times we needed help, but because everything had been so thoroughly prepared in advance, everything went perfectly.
