Holiday homes with bicycles

Absolutely stunning rural surroundings. A great spot to watch the sunset from the garden. The kids loved going on the hunt for interesting animals in the garden! Everything from lizards and rhinoceros beetles to deer and beautiful large birds of prey circling in the sky above the property. A walk among giant cypresses and olive trees. Wow! The vacation home is sparsely furnished, as is the kitchen. There are four gas burners and a small combination oven for cooking. The meals turned out rustic, but they were also nice and authentic. I would have been disappointed if a large, modern kitchen had been installed in this lovely old stone house.

Nice apartment in a very quiet area. The amenities are good—both inside the building and outside. Lovely pool and views of the fields. We were most impressed by the peace and quiet; all we could hear were birds and other animals—only a few cars on the small road outside (though the ones that do drive by go absurdly fast—but that’s Italy for you 😉)

It's a really cool vacation home with a great layout and lovely details, a beautiful view of the cliffs, and a fantastic outdoor area! It's in a great location, close to the small, charming town of Loshavn, and there are trails nearby.

Marianne's and Niels' summerhouse is a 10/10, highly recommended. Everything is cozy and stylish and you immediately start to relax as soon as you enter. The house feels like a really nice apartment on the inside with modern bathrooms and furniture and everything you could possibly need. And the two of them are incredible hosts who took tome to explain everything about the apartment. Big plus for me was the Weber gas grill which was perfect for summer evenings in the garden. And of you get lucky you will see a hare or roe deer walking across the lawn in the evening;)

We had a wonderful time at the vacation home. The view of Sejerø Bay, in particular, is absolutely breathtaking. Our kids loved the large yard with plenty of hiding spots and room for hours of play, and the house is cozily furnished and clearly designed with families in mind, with plenty of board games and toys on the first floor. Our only real reservation was the bathroom. It had the kind of patina that can’t quite be romanticized and would probably benefit from a loving renovation. The same goes for the cleaning in general. It’s not the house’s strongest suit, and there’s a bit of dust and a few dust mites here and there. On the other hand, the house is full of soul and character.
