We had a wonderful long weekend in this lovely house. We were welcomed by a lovely handwritten note ♥️ Michael was welcoming and easy to communicate with the entire time. The house had plenty of space both inside and out; it’s well-designed and well-equipped. It invites coziness, togetherness, and tranquility. We just felt so at home. A wonderful house in a wonderful location. There were several places to sit outside, and a magnificent view from each of the many large windows. Just the right place to relax to the fullest! Leezen is also a perfect starting point for trips to Lübeck or Hamburg.

We enjoyed the cosy athmosphere of the Sommerhuset during rainy days, with the woodstove burning, baking pancakes, reading, playing games. On sunny days, the lovely garden with its terraces, patio, barbecue facilities , boule course and so many more was a green paradise. And the location itself, with approx. 1 hr driving / ferry distance to Copenhagen, Roskilde and Holbaek, made an ideal homebase to explore cities and the countryside. Everything we needed was supplied in the island’s supermarket, with a cafe nearby. This holiday was just relaxing, and we spent an unforgettable time on Oro island.
