Everything was perfect. The house is beautifully situated and very nicely decorated. It was clean and tidy when we checked in, and the hosts, Ingrid and Peter, were really kind, welcoming, and helpful. We followed their recommendations for local restaurants, farm shops, harbors, and more, all of which lived up to our expectations. We had a wonderful long weekend in Gärsnäs!

The view through the large floor-to-ceiling windows is simply one-of-a-kind, and the tranquility on Kårholmen makes your stay truly special. A lovely house with plenty of space—we really appreciated that. Just one small “but.” We had stocked up on groceries before arriving. We had bought some frozen items that we had hoped could be stored in the freezer, which we unfortunately couldn’t find. But other than that, we really enjoyed the house.

A magnificent location right on the water—the vacation home is very spacious with plenty of places to relax, both inside and around the house—the house exudes a sense of tranquility and makes you feel right at home—as described at Landfolk, there are great amenities like a grill and kayaks—we really enjoyed our stay

Highly recommended... the hosts went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. The cottage was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated. A peaceful and lovely atmosphere. A great location by the river with a swimming dock. We were very satisfied and would love to come back again. It was nice that we could buy freshly baked bread in the morning and the most delicious coffee and pastries from the café that Petra and Danne run right next to the cottage.
