We had a wonderful stay in Ebeltoft. The house is beautifully done and very cozy with all the little details. The rooms and beds were great. The location is close by the many beaches around Ebeltoft and a short drive from town. The host was proactive and provided clear and helpful instructions.

A really lovely vacation home—new and stylish. Nicely furnished for a large family or, like us, grandparents with a family of five. A luxury with an outdoor shower. It was farther from the beach than advertised, but it’s a nice, quiet area. The beach wasn’t as kid-friendly as we’d expected. The water got deep quickly, but that could be due to changing wind and weather conditions. Great opportunities for outings—whether you’re hiking, biking, or driving.

The stay got off to a bit of a rough start when we arrived at a dirty vacation home that hadn’t been cleaned yet. Even though they responded quickly, it’s still a bit of a bummer to spend the first few hours of your vacation outside with all your stuff. Aside from that, much of the vacation home could really use a deep cleaning—the freezer drawers and kitchen shelves were especially dusty. Otherwise, it’s a really lovely cottage, perfectly located near the beach and a great place to go for walks. The cottage had some really nice outdoor areas and patio furniture. There are a few minor issues here and there, but overall it’s a wonderful cottage.
