Autumn escapes in France and Italy

We had an absolutely fantastic stay. The surroundings are incredibly beautiful, with stunning nature and plenty of peace and quiet. The house is beautifully appointed down to the smallest detail, with plenty of charm and an authentic style that fits perfectly with the area. The pool is lovely, and the view makes it a truly special place to relax. The hosts deserve extra praise. They really went out of their way to make our stay perfect—they prepared a delicious lunch for us and helped us with great recommendations for wineries and restaurants, which made our vacation even better. A place we highly recommend if you’re looking for a vacation with beautiful nature, tranquility, a sense of togetherness, and absolutely fantastic hospitality. We’d love to come back.

The five of us stayed in the cottage, which can accommodate up to 8 people. Recently renovated, with a beautiful kitchen, a bathroom featuring two sinks, a walk-in shower, and a bathtub, bedrooms, a living area with a TV and PlayStation, a soccer game, a pool table, and more. It stays nice and cool in the summer thanks to the shutters and the typical French ceiling panels; outside, there’s a table with eight chairs, an outdoor sofa, and a barbecue. Two parking spaces in front of the cottage. Located in a very quiet area. The fact that the bells of the nearby church tower were already ringing at 7 a.m. didn’t bother us. We thought it was absolutely wonderful!

A very lovely house. Tastefully and comfortably furnished, with plenty of space for a large family vacation with children and grandchildren. The pool and pool area were beautiful and inviting. Plenty of activities to enjoy, including petanque, table tennis, and darts—and cooking together in the large kitchen.

The house in the middle of the vineyards is like stepping into a time capsule. The decor is very cohesive, and you won’t find a single piece of furniture from IKEA. The house is spacious, and the outdoor surroundings are especially fantastic. The view from the pool area takes your breath away, and the beautiful olive trees provide shade from the afternoon sun. An added bonus is that there’s cutlery, glasses, tableware, pots, and pans for far more than 10 people.

What a fantastic location! Campitello di Fassa is situated at the foot of the mountain, just a 5-minute walk from the gondolas that take you to the summit. Anna was a super-friendly host and gave us a warm welcome. She also helped us with great tips on hiking trails and places to eat. I definitely recommend this place if you want to go hiking in the Dolomites.

As you can see from the photos, the vacation home is absolutely beautiful! We felt very comfortable there. We were able to relax perfectly there, far away from neighbors, yet still close to the beautiful town of Ostuni. We especially loved the outdoor area and the pool!
