The four of us had a wonderful week at the cottage. The cottage looked just like the pictures, the host was always available, and the area is perfect for water sports and hiking. We highly recommend this cottage.

The house is cozy and beautifully decorated. We felt right at home from the moment we stepped inside. There were 10 of us, ranging in age from 7 to 72. The house offers space for both togetherness and quiet reflection. The location in the woods and by the small lake is beautiful. From the living room, we could watch deer at dusk. On walks in the forest, you can hear the birds singing. The children were engrossed in following animal tracks. Overall, it’s a house and area where you can relax.

For us, it was a perfect experience. It was our first time in Denmark and we truly had a wonderful time. The house is very well equipped and it is very close to the beach. A big plus is the large enclosed garden – our dogs truly were in dog heaven.

A beautifully situated cottage right on the lake, full of charm and set in wonderfully peaceful surroundings. We especially enjoyed the proximity to the bakery and the harbor (which serves delicious pizza). The little touches, like the coffee machine with capsules and plenty of toilet paper, also made our stay very pleasant. With a few small touches—a bit more dishware, storage space, and a coat rack in the entryway, as well as some minor tweaks to the heating, bicycles, and cables—you could add even more warmth and charm to this already special place.

We arrived at a very cold cabin; the heat didn’t kick in until the evening. The cabin was nice and well-equipped, with a good view and generally comfortable mattresses—though not in the room with the bunk beds. Fortunately, we had brought dishcloths and towels; there were barely enough compost bags, and it was difficult to get cold water in the shower—it was very hot. But overall, a very cozy cabin

A truly wonderful vacation home—there wasn’t a single thing to complain about. It was really cozy, and the view of the fields and the sunrise from the kitchen was lovely. Our son loved the little playhouse with the tea set inside. All in all, it was a perfect Easter vacation on Thurø.
