Lovely house and fantastic surroundings. We enjoyed a week in Kågården with the beach, meadows, marshes, and woods with rich wildlife right outside the door. We would like a larger pot, more plates, and glasses so that with 12 guests there is enough crockery for two meals before washing up. Kind regards, Poul N. Sørensen

My family and I (an average of 4 adults and a baby a day) stayed at Kågården for the whole week of summer, until we had to leave - it was simply an adventurous experience. The location is unique - in the middle of wild nature, virtually no traffic, but peace and quiet - and dark at night. A short 5-minute walk to the morning sea bath. - The farmhouse is old, but very charming and with good room distribution. The walls and ceilings are freshly painted, everything works, including the bathroom and toilet. The many photos of Kågården together give a true picture of the place - it was neat and clean everywhere except the kitchen. For example, 2 of the 3 freezer compartments had not been emptied - and the refrigerator's vegetable drawer had not been cleaned either. The kitchen seemed dirty and would benefit from a general cleaning and a sorting of drawers and cupboards - In the packing list for the stay at Kågården, it was pointed out that you do not "need to bring toilet paper and paper towels [...] and washing up tablets." There were indeed paper towels, but no toilet paper - and only one dishcloth - I received a reminder shortly before the day of departure about how to leave the place, including "clean the cupboards..." which was not on the list originally sent out... The wording and facts should be tightened up... Finally, there is unreserved praise for the staff at Skovsgårds Gods. We were greeted with smiles and friendliness, information about the place was skillfully communicated, and the café made delicious, simple lunch dishes at very reasonable prices. The cottage was cozy and spacious for 3 generations, and as peacefully located in the middle of Nature Destination Skovsgård as we had hoped. The garden and forest are child-friendly and invite you to play. The beach can be used for a quick dip, but is a narrow pebble beach that is not really suitable for swimming and playing with smaller children. We enjoyed nice views, climbing trees, beautiful night skies, bats, insects, cows and horses. As well as the good activity opportunities at Skovsgård.

Great house, very cozy, homey decor that we felt so at home in. Neat, clean. Everything worked fine. Lovely t with beach and forest right outside the door. We were 8 adults and 4 children (aged 4-8 years) all enjoyed it. We will gladly come again, we agree.

Super nice house, great location, and really nice atmosphere. However, a big minus was that the drain in the shower was so clogged that you ended up standing in water with your feet as the drain could not keep up at all, not very nice. Likewise, the drain in the kitchen did not work optimally either. And it was also annoying that the dishwasher was defective, so that it could only run on the longest program of over 5 hours.
