Holiday homes with sea view

We had a cozy stay in this cottage with our dog. The kitchen is well equipped, there is a large garden, and it is quiet and beautifully located with a side view of the sea. It was especially nice to hear the sound of the sea outside.

The cabin is in a fantastic location. The view of the Oslo Fjord is magical. Breathtaking sunsets and beautiful landscapes. From the house, you can go on great hikes along the coast and through the forest! It's a climbing paradise for children. The cabin is comfortably furnished and has everything you need. In winter, there is no running water, so you have to improvise a little. Water is available in canisters, which you can easily fill up for free at the small shop in Holmsbu. The shop is open 24/7 and you can enter with a bank card if no one is there. The electric heaters provide sufficient warmth – if you want it warmer, you can light the wood-burning stove. The bedrooms do not have their own heating, but this is not a problem if you leave the doors open. In winter, there is a fantastic free ice rink for skating and a great second-hand store about an hour away in Mjondalen. Holmsbu is a beautiful winter village, decorated for Christmas and looking simply picturesque in the snow. We will definitely be back. Everything worked out wonderfully with Annette. We extended our stay by two nights, and that was no problem at all!

Dejligt sommerhus med god udsigt til havet om dagen og stjernehimmel om natten. Sommerhuset sagtens kan bruges henover vinteren, da der var godt varmt indenfor på trods af sne og kulde uden for.

The cabin is such a lovely place, we'd definitely come back! It's located nicely on a slope, overlooking the Uvatn lake. And while there are other vacation homes nearby, we never perceived this as a lack of privacy, as there's enough room inbetween. The cabin is furnished and decorated with love, everything has been taken care of, everything you need is there. It took us no time to feel at home, probably also because Kristin and her family use the house regularly themselves. We were even greeted with Christmas decoration at our arrival :)

It was a super cozy cottage where you could relax in front of the wood-burning stove or look out over the water, take a nice walk across Dalby Bay at low tide. The only downside was that there weren't enough kitchen utensils and pots and pans.

The vacation home exceeded our expectations. First of all, it is perfectly located, surrounded by beautiful nature, right on a lake with a view of the village of Vrådal. The amenities leave nothing to be desired. Stove, sauna, washing machine... everything is top-notch. But what really makes this a "5-star*" experience is the warm, personal welcome from the owners. In addition to the Christmas decorations in and around the vacation home, we were greeted with a warm fire in the fireplace when we arrived at around 9:15 p.m. This extra touch is by no means a given and completely delighted our travel group. The house is simply wonderful. It feels like coming home. The fireplace provided cozy warmth, Tove gave us a warm welcome and explained everything we needed to know. The house is very tastefully and individually furnished to a high standard. The amenities leave nothing to be desired. You feel like a member of the family coming home for the holidays. The beach is very close by. All in all, we can highly recommend Tove as a host. The separate apartment also gives a mixed group (in our case, our daughter and her boyfriend) space to retreat. We felt very, very comfortable.
