The vacation home is a little gem, and so is the area. We hadn’t heard of Dyreborg before, but it’s pure idyll. The house is tastefully decorated, as are the terraces, where we spent plenty of time because we were lucky enough to have beautiful summer weather.

The most beautiful little house right on the water—we loved staying there. Everything from the beautiful decor to the location down by a small harbor and beach, where we went swimming every day.

We had a wonderful time at the vacation home. The view of Sejerø Bay, in particular, is absolutely breathtaking. Our kids loved the large yard with plenty of hiding spots and room for hours of play, and the house is cozily furnished and clearly designed with families in mind, with plenty of board games and toys on the first floor. Our only real reservation was the bathroom. It had the kind of patina that can’t quite be romanticized and would probably benefit from a loving renovation. The same goes for the cleaning in general. It’s not the house’s strongest suit, and there’s a bit of dust and a few dust mites here and there. On the other hand, the house is full of soul and character.

Fantastic house with a gorgeous view of the water. It was great that we only had to walk 50 meters to get to the beach. Especially with two kids who love the beach. We spent 90% of our time on the patio and at the beach.
