The open-concept living-dining area, featuring a well-equipped kitchen in a modern country style, offers all guests plenty of space to cook, eat, and wind down for the day by the crackling fireplace in a cozy atmosphere. The kitchen island invites guests to watch the cooks at work. The long dining table seats 12 guests. The building is situated on a large property where children can run around and, in the fall, gather chestnuts and walnuts. To keep boredom at bay, there are board games and books to provide variety. The bedrooms and bathrooms are also well-equipped. It’s a place where large groups can feel right at home. The drive to this property is a little adventure in itself!

We chose the apartment due to it’s amenities for our one year old child and its general location (easy to reach via public transport, neighbourhood with playgrounds etc). The children’s room with all the toys was excellent - this way we only packed a few toys from home. The kitchen is also very well equipped! The apartment has a lot of personality, a lot to explore (eg pictures) every day. The bunnies in the backyard were very much loved to be observed by our child :) the communication with the hosts was always fast and friendly! Only thing to know: the apartments windows of the bedroom face directly the street. Thus it was quite noisy during the night. Also the blinds of the room do not darken the room completely, which I guess is all fine, if you don’t have a very sensitive child :) our child loved to watch the cars and bicycles drive by the window during the day! Thanks for the nice Copenhagen experience!!

The house was spotless, very elegantly furnished, and exactly as described. Our son absolutely loved the yard, especially the trampoline and the swing. We also enjoyed the lovely walks to the beach, which is nearby. A wonderful place for the whole family to relax, and we’d love to come back.

“Knud’n,” as Sidsel and André call their vacation home, is a lovely vacation home that fully lived up to our expectations—and then some. The house is located in a beautiful, peaceful area, just a short walk from a lovely beach. We traveled with two small children, ages 3, and there was plenty for them to do both indoors and outdoors. All in all, this vacation home has everything you need for a wonderfully relaxing stay.
