This is NOT intended as an official review. It is solely feedback for Landfolk and the owner. Really nice house, lovely terrace(!) and beautiful views. We had some lovely sunny days with “visits” from both foxes and deer. A truly cozy and peaceful vacation home area. Suggestion: For future renters, it would be nice to have a description (map) of the path down to the water (so you can easily find the gate that leads to the beach). The key chain for the beach key isn’t pink, as described, but a light-colored rope (I took all the keys with me the first time to make sure we didn’t go in vain). Instead of writing that the milk frother doesn’t work, just throw it out. Same goes for expired non-perishable items in the fridge. Used dish towels and rags from the previous tenant were still hanging on the back of the bathroom door, and the cleaning seemed “rushed.” Clear away small piles of stuff—maybe have a private chest of drawers for the “everything-else” pile. It would also be great if the large panoramic windows were reasonably clean. Especially since the view is one of the house’s major assets. Some owners leave a little handwritten note on the kitchen table welcoming the new tenant for their vacation or weekend stay. A nice way to be welcomed, but not a must, of course.

The cottage is a well-designed gem, full of cozy little nooks, both in the garden and inside the house. You can really tell that a lot of care has gone into creating this place. The beds are comfortable, so you can wake up well-rested to a lovely cup of coffee from the coffee machine with that authentic café vibe. The wilderness bath and trampoline are the icing on the cake 😊 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place.
