We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and had such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The large windows filled the space with natural light, and the thoughtful design made it feel warm, bright, and inviting. This was a perfect cabin for my daughter and I, also beautifully private. It was also a perfect location, short stroll to the beach and other activities that we had planned (horse riding, theme parks, crabbing etc)

A wonderful location surrounded by nature. We enjoyed the company of the wild horses and cattle, and saw cranes, herons, and more. It’s nice that the farmyard is fenced in :-) The house was authentic and cozy.

we’ve absolutely enjoyed our family getaway at mette‘s + charlotte‘s place! we felt right at home after checking in – the house is very well equipped, absolutely wonderful decorated and the peaceful surroundings was just what we’ve needed for a slow and relaxed stay 🌞 mette was super accommodating and the communication was very easy. the beautiful beach is just a short walk away – there was no one else except for us and the water was cristal clear. also, a few minutes by car are two nice thriftshops worth strolling through :)

Very beautiful surroundings, a fantastic view from the house. The house itself is also really cozy, though we found the lack of some kitchen items a bit of a challenge. There were no dinner plates, very few cooking utensils—including no scissors and no pastry brush. In addition, we felt the house was missing curtains. We wanted to watch a movie one evening, but it was almost impossible because the sun was shining so brightly through the windows on the first floor that we couldn’t see anything. The ventilation system in the bathroom of the annex is very noisy when it’s running. And, to be honest, we felt the cleaning could be improved. My husband had to plug something into an outlet behind the bench in the dining area, and afterward he was covered in cobwebs.

We had a really great time with Johnny and Lena. Their farm is a dream, and we felt right at home from the start. You couldn’t ask for a nicer place to stay—the view of the horse paddocks, the gorgeous little cottage in a garden full of flowers. We’ll definitely be back!
