To say it up front: it was even more beautiful than expected and hoped for. The house is fantastically and thoughtfully furnished - with lovely individual details. I was particularly taken with the ceramics. But the surroundings are also beautiful. When we arrived in the snowstorm, we didn't realize how beautiful it was up there in the fjell, but then when the sun came out... Even -35 degrees wasn't a problem, but an experience when you can go into such a great house to warm up. The sauna was of course the cherry on the cake. The second cherry was the landlords themselves and the friendly communication with them. Thank you for this wonderful time in your house! P.S.: The jam was delicious and is unfortunately already empty. So we'll have to come back soon ;)

Brita og Einars hytte er den perfekte hytte at bo i I Eggedal. Hytten er top velindrettet, og flot i sin japanske stil, der dog ikke går ud over hyggen. Vi havde en fantastisk ferie i hytten i februar, og kan varmt anbefale den. Området er fantastisk smukt og man har et flot udsyn fra hytten til bjergene. Der er indkøbsmuligheder tæt på, og gode forhold for elbiler i Eggedal.

The house is greatly located with a lovely view on the lake and the forest behind it. We spent a lot of time outside, and when the rain caught us and in the evening we played a lot of table games near the fireplace.

Very clean in a beautiful natural surrounding. It has much space and is perfect for families with kids who can play outside in a huge garden.
