Go cross-country skiing directly from the cabin

It is a beautiful modern house. Very comfortably furnished and very child-friendly. Our grandchild was delighted with all the toys. It was also nice to have a cot and high chairs, and the stove was locked for safety reasons – everything had been thought of. It was also very kind of them to let us borrow sledges and similar items. There was also enough wood for heating, but all the heat rose through the opening in the loft, so it was very warm upstairs. We could hardly get the rooms downstairs warm. What we missed was a microwave and a kettle, and the rooms are not very large and there is a lack of closet space, and the stairs are very steep. But all in all, a great cabin.

The cabin is beautifully situated on the slopes of Blefjell, a plateau with many other cabins and a lodge where you can stop for refreshments. The house has two small bedrooms with comfortable beds, plenty of storage space, a small hallway, a small bathroom (used entirely as a wet room), and a very cozy living room and kitchen area with a dining table and sofa. The furnishings are very tasteful, and the kitchen is very well equipped (coffee maker and electric coffee grinder, good pots and knives, good crockery, etc.). The view through the floor-to-ceiling windows is fantastic.

Cozy and charming cabin—right next to the cross-country ski trail and very close to the alpine slopes at Norefjell. We highly recommend this family cabin to others. You can sense that the hosts love this place. It's wonderful to have a wood-burning stove in the kitchen—the natural social gathering place. We'd love to come back again.

Lovely cozy cabin and peaceful surroundings with a great view. We were there over New Year's (almost no fireworks) and could have used a little more equipment in the kitchen, as we had brought food that needed to be cooked. This included kitchen scales and a blender. In general, there was not enough storage space for our clothes. In the master bedroom, there were no coat hooks, hangers, or furniture for clothes, so we had to leave our bags on the floor with our clothes in them. We also needed a hair dryer, as it is difficult to go outside in minus 15-20 degrees with wet hair. The fireplace in the kitchen is really cozy, and we used it a lot. Outside, the terrace is fenced in so the dog could go out and sniff around a bit, which was nice. The fireplace on the terrace was also a big plus; we lit it and drank hot cocoa. Overall, a good cabin.

A beautiful, spacious, fully equipped, and cozy family home. Beautifully located with an incredible network of cross-country skiing trails right outside the door and a small café within walking distance. Just 10 minutes from Rauland Ski Center and less than an hour from Gausta Ski Center and Gaustatoppen.

The vacation home has everything you need: comfort, amenities, a beautiful location, security, space, and room. We were able to go on wonderful walks. Our highlight was the fire pit in the snow on the terrace—simply beautiful!

The cabin is such a lovely place, we'd definitely come back! It's located nicely on a slope, overlooking the Uvatn lake. And while there are other vacation homes nearby, we never perceived this as a lack of privacy, as there's enough room inbetween. The cabin is furnished and decorated with love, everything has been taken care of, everything you need is there. It took us no time to feel at home, probably also because Kristin and her family use the house regularly themselves. We were even greeted with Christmas decoration at our arrival :)
