During our honeymoon on a tour of Norway, we had a truly wonderful stay at this place. Admittedly, at first we thought, “Okay, there’s no Wi-Fi and no TV for a cozy evening, like you often find.” We’re glad it was more minimalist! We loved everything about the place—it was so beautifully designed, the bed was very comfortable, and the sauna with a view was a highlight. The view while showering, cooking, and of course from the living room and the terrace was fantastic, too! The drive up is a bit “rougher,” as you’d expect given the mountain’s elevation. Yes, the road eventually turns into a gravel path, but it’s very well-maintained! You don’t need to worry about that at all! We’d stay here again in a heartbeat! It was a dream!

An awesome stay in this modern and absolutely beautiful house! We truly enjoyed every moment — biking, hiking, and simply chilling by the fire while taking in the most gorgeous views over Savalen. The house is everything you could dream of: modern, cozy and warm, especially when it’s chilly and rainy outside. And the huge windows make the view even more spectacular. Our only “neighbour” was a little hare, occasionally hopping past the big window. 🐇❤️ A truly wonderful place to slow down, reconnect with nature and enjoy the beauty of Savalen!

A really lovely cabin in a great location in a beautiful area! The cabin owner gave us helpful hiking tips, and there are many great hiking opportunities right nearby! We went there on a girls’ trip (6 people) and had an impeccable stay. Clean and tidy, and a well-equipped cabin—an extra plus with a sauna and a swimming spot nearby. I would definitely recommend this place to others who want to explore this part of the Norwegian mountains!
