A wonderful weekend away from everyday life. Everything has been great! We received a warm welcome when we arrived, and the cabin is very cozy and nicely decorated. The kitchen has most of what you need, including sharp kitchen knives—that’s definitely a plus. A wood-fired sauna, a fireplace, and a view of the horse pastures were the icing on the cake. The sleeping area is in the loft, and it was cozy sleeping up there. Very comfortable beds. It’s worth noting that the stairs are steep and there isn’t full headroom up there. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t quite right for sitting outside, but if it had been, we definitely would have had coffee on the cozy porch steps and eaten dinner outdoors. Instead, we got to cozy up inside the cabin and really did absolutely nothing. We highly recommend renting Lena & Johnny’s “Little Blue”!

“Knud’n,” as Sidsel and André call their vacation home, is a lovely vacation home that fully lived up to our expectations—and then some. The house is located in a beautiful, peaceful area, just a short walk from a lovely beach. We traveled with two small children, ages 3, and there was plenty for them to do both indoors and outdoors. All in all, this vacation home has everything you need for a wonderfully relaxing stay.

The house is more than enough for two people. The view is absolutely stunning. It’s very quiet there, and during the off-season when we were there, we hardly saw a soul—which made it especially appealing to us, since we don’t like crowds and peace and relaxation are our top priorities on vacation. In our opinion, however, you should have a car, since it’s located a bit off the beaten path. Still, it’s only about a 30-minute drive to Hudiksvall, where you can find everything you need. The private parking spot right in front of the house makes carrying suitcases and groceries a breeze. Conclusion: A beautiful house with a fantastic view and a spacious terrace. We felt very comfortable there and would love to come back again when the opportunity arises.

We’ve enjoyed four days at the vacation home, and it’s been absolutely fantastic. The house and garden are so incredibly cozy, well-appointed with everything you could possibly need, and so beautiful! There are various outdoor patios depending on the sun and weather, the wilderness bath is absolutely wonderful, and inside, it’s not only cozy but also clean, beautiful, and a delight to be in. The beach is super close by, so you can pop down several times a day; sitting in the garden and enjoying the peace and quiet, or heading to Ebeltoft to visit museums or shops—it’s been a varied vacation that was far too short. The hosts have created a little paradise that deserves nothing but the highest praise!
