Everything worked out perfectly—plenty of space, a well-equipped kitchen, and hosts who responded immediately whenever we had a question. We would all highly recommend both the house and the location.

We had a wonderful family vacation here in northern Denmark. Our kids (12 & 10) rushed into the house as soon as we arrived and immediately said, “12 out of 10 stars!” Then, when they got to the soccer field right in front of the house, they upped it to 13 stars… Everything was very clean, the kitchen was great with everything we needed, and above all, it was incredibly peaceful. The house appeared to have been recently renovated—it had a cozy sofa, a washing machine, and even a DRYER(!). The mattresses in the beds weren’t sagging, so they must be relatively new as well? In the annex, there’s a ping-pong table—which we used a lot—as well as a foosball table and various outdoor games, board games in different languages, and there’s also an air conditioner installed, which we definitely needed when the outside temperature was over 30 degrees. The HimmerLand Resort is just a stone’s throw away, where we were able to play mini-golf and go bowling. There’s probably plenty more to do there, like ordering pizza for pickup. In just two minutes by car, you can drive to Sørup Sø (a small lake in the resort) and cool off in the water again. Aalborg and Aarhus aren’t far away, and you can hunt for fossils on the nearby beach. It’s easy to keep the kids entertained for two weeks. Whenever we had questions, the landlord responded right away—communication was excellent. So we can wholeheartedly recommend this house. It’s truly great for families with kids. And I know I’m repeating myself, but: the peace and quiet!! A dream.
