Six stars if I could! This place completely exceeded our expectations. It looks like it was pulled straight out of a design magazine: beautiful, thoughtfully styled, and genuinely comfortable to actually live in. The setting is just as stunning as the interiors. Sofia, our host, was amazing. Warm, welcoming, and thoughtful in every detail, with fantastic local recommendations that made our stay so much better. And Pescara itself is a part of Italy well worth discovering: great food, beautiful beaches, and so much character. We would stay here again any day. Grazie, Sofia!

We stayed at the villa La Stalla Il Sole Verde, which is located closest to the pool. An authentic Italian villa with a nice kitchen and two lovely bedrooms. It’s a bit close to the road, but we quickly got used to it. The location itself, between Bucine and Mercatale Valdano, is really nice. It’s convenient both for grocery shopping and for day trips to Arezzo, Siena, Florence, etc. The house itself shows its age, but everything worked. With a few upgrades here and there, the place would be even more perfect. The front terrace was nice for relaxing and dining, with a view of the vineyard. The pool is a bit dated, but it was great for lounging in. And it’s perfect for families with young children, since it’s 90–100 cm deep at the shallow end and 145–150 cm deep at the deep end. Our kids loved it.

A very pleasant and well-maintained place to stay in beautiful natural surroundings, with opportunities for short, enjoyable hikes. Several lovely patios and a pool area for meals and relaxation. All of the house’s amenities worked perfectly, and the kitchen’s proximity to the patio was much appreciated for breakfasts and dinners. The lovely covered bocce court was also a highlight.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay. The surroundings are incredibly beautiful, with stunning nature and plenty of peace and quiet. The house is beautifully appointed down to the smallest detail, with plenty of charm and an authentic style that fits perfectly with the area. The pool is lovely, and the view makes it a truly special place to relax. The hosts deserve extra praise. They really went out of their way to make our stay perfect—they prepared a delicious lunch for us and helped us with great recommendations for wineries and restaurants, which made our vacation even better. A place we highly recommend if you’re looking for a vacation with beautiful nature, tranquility, a sense of togetherness, and absolutely fantastic hospitality. We’d love to come back.

The five of us stayed in the cottage, which can accommodate up to 8 people. Recently renovated, with a beautiful kitchen, a bathroom featuring two sinks, a walk-in shower, and a bathtub, bedrooms, a living area with a TV and PlayStation, a soccer game, a pool table, and more. It stays nice and cool in the summer thanks to the shutters and the typical French ceiling panels; outside, there’s a table with eight chairs, an outdoor sofa, and a barbecue. Two parking spaces in front of the cottage. Located in a very quiet area. The fact that the bells of the nearby church tower were already ringing at 7 a.m. didn’t bother us. We thought it was absolutely wonderful!
