We had a wonderful vacation in this fantastic vacation home. We were on a family vacation with 11 people ranging in age from 13 to 83, plus our dog. The house is beautifully furnished, has spacious rooms, and a fantastic garden with a pool. The entire property is fenced in, making it perfect for dogs. The location is beautiful, nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Bassin d’Arcachon. Be sure to rent bikes: you can explore the entire Cap Ferret wonderfully by bike through a beautiful pine forest or through the small villages. Shops (bakery, butcher, small supermarket) are easily accessible within a 10-minute walk, and a larger supermarket is a 15-minute drive away. The Atlantic Ocean is a 10-minute bike ride or a 20-minute walk away. The concierge service is absolutely reliable. Great recommendations for wine tastings, restaurants, and bike rentals. Daily morning housekeeping. Great, friendly young staff. A beautiful house in a fantastic location. Would go back in a heartbeat 🤩

It’s very quiet and unspoiled. We loved just taking it easy. The vacation home was very well-maintained and tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed and then some. The beach is either a 5-minute drive or just under an hour’s walk away. Fjerritslev is also only about a 3-minute drive away, and there you’ll find everything you need, including shopping.

The house was large, clean, and cozy, with all the amenities you could want! Our stay was great! We didn’t find some of the items listed in the ad (bicycles, kayaks, etc.), but then again, we didn’t ask either. We were a large group, and the kitchenware and other amenities met our needs—big thumbs up! We’re very happy with the accommodation and with Jessica as our host.

We had a wonderful stay in this special house. The architecture is extraordinary yet very cozy—you feel right at home from the very first moment. It really has everything you could need. The house is also ideal for families with (young) children. The large garden offers plenty of space to play, run around, and explore. We were particularly impressed by the excellent location: the beach is within easy walking distance and is perfect for swimming. Also within walking distance is a very well-stocked village supermarket that offers fresh bread rolls daily as well as an excellent selection of cheeses. Thank you very much for a relaxing week in the peaceful seclusion of Fjaltring. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would love to come back.
