We’ve been vacationing in upscale vacation homes for many years. But Heike and Christian’s house was something truly special. Stylish yet very cozy, with a great floor plan and well-distributed seating areas, so that you’re set for both enjoying time with friends and family and for a quiet retreat to read. “Knud’n,” as Sidsel and André call their vacation home, is a lovely vacation home that fully lived up to our expectations—and then some. The house is located in a beautiful, peaceful area, just a short walk from a lovely beach. We traveled with two small children, ages 3, and there was plenty for them to do both indoors and outdoors. All in all, this vacation home has everything you need for a wonderfully relaxing stay.

The house is more than enough for two people. The view is absolutely stunning. It’s very quiet there, and during the off-season when we were there, we hardly saw a soul—which made it especially appealing to us, since we don’t like crowds and peace and relaxation are our top priorities on vacation. In our opinion, however, you should have a car, since it’s located a bit off the beaten path. Still, it’s only about a 30-minute drive to Hudiksvall, where you can find everything you need. The private parking spot right in front of the house makes carrying suitcases and groceries a breeze. Conclusion: A beautiful house with a fantastic view and a spacious terrace. We felt very comfortable there and would love to come back again when the opportunity arises.

It’s well-insulated and nice and warm. Note: The access to the beach via stairs is very steep; otherwise, we recommend driving to the beach.
